A delicate tea from Fuding, China. This tea is a household favourite. I always serve this tea when I have guests or family over and am yet to find someone who hasn't asked for more. During the tea making process, real jasmine flowers are harvested during the daytime when the flowers are shut. 8 batches of the Jasmine flowers are left to dry in contact with green tea overnight, in which the flowers open up and release their aroma into the green tea leaves. This process is repeated several times and is what gives this tea its irresistible aroma.
