what makes our tea different?
Great tea is about so much more than what ends up in your cup. Every harvest reflects generations of knowledge, the hands of skilled tea pickers selecting each leaf, and the craftsmanship of tea makers who carefully guide every step of the process, from withering and rolling to oxidation and drying.
The character of a tea is also shaped by where it grows. Mineral-rich soil, mountain elevation, morning mist, spring rainfall, and the local climate all influence the aroma, flavour, and complexity of each harvest. These are the details we look for when selecting every tea we offer.
That's why we source our teas directly from farmers across China's renowned tea-growing regions. By visiting them in person, learning about their craft, and building lasting relationships, we can ensure every tea is ethically sourced, thoughtfully selected, and true to its origin.

meet the makers
We're Emma and Mel, a mother-daughter duo sharing our love of exceptional tea and thoughtfully handmade accessories.
Tea has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. What began as a daily ritual has grown into a passion for learning, exploring tea culture, and sourcing remarkable teas. I'm currently completing my Tea Sommelier certification through the Tea Association of Canada, tasting new teas every week and working directly with farmers to bring you some of China's most exceptional single origin loose-leaf teas.
My mom, Mel, is the creative maker behind our crocheted accessories. A self-taught crocheter, she loves creating by hand as a way to unwind. These days, she's also my trusted second opinion during tea tastings, making every new tea we discover a shared experience.
